Role Introduction:
To protect and promote the brand reputation of Cathay Pacific across all media platforms (traditional, digital, and social).
To perform and ensure region/local communication materials align with corporate affairs strategy and execution.
To ensure fast and professional response and customer engagement through Social Media and marketing activities as well as supporting fare promotions, network promotions, and other campaign and direct sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1、 Brand
Ensure all social media content is on brand
2、 Social Media
1) Improve awareness and influence of the Company’s brand as well as generate sales conversion by leveraging social media platforms
2) Lead and manage the appointed social media agency to ensure quality outputs, achieving outstanding social media presence, fan base development and active engagement on the Company’s SNS platforms i.e. WeChat, Weibo, etc.
3) Be connected with the latest trends trends/technology/best practices in social media spheres to keep improving and optimising social marketing performance and effectiveness
4) Explore possible new channels, platforms and approaches for social marketing to ensure the Company is an early adopter in the digital marketplace
5) Ensure that all locally produced social media content is of superior quality, is on brand, and aligns with Head Office direction
6) Plan, develop and execute local insights driven social media content in the region
7) Adapt global social media content for local use in the region
8) Update and maintain the regional social media content calendar and share with Head Office
9) Create regional social media content strategy and define success criteria for the region based on local business needs and aligning Head Office social media strategies
10) Work with agency or platforms on understanding local sentiment and verbatims about Cathay and competitors over social media in the region
3、 Corporate Social Responsibility
Plan and execute local Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives based on Head Office in key selected markets
4、 Budget
Manage the annual Social Media budget allocated to the region in an effective manner
5、 E&A
Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
Qualifications / Experience:
1. Academic Qualifications
Bachelor degree holder or equivalent in a related business field
2. Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
1) Minimum three years’ experience in a Public Relations or (preferably) a Social Media enterprise
2) Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
3) Good media relationship and understanding of the story needs local media
4) Thorough understanding on social media landscape with local market insights
5) Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ensuring speed to market whilst maintaining quality of work
6) Capable of working outside of office hours in response to urgent Corporate Affairs matters
7) Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
8) Communications style is naturally aligned with Cathay Pacific's style

Role Introduction:
The Business Development Executive under the GBA Market Growth team supports the growth of Asia Miles as a leading reward currency in Shenzhen by delivering hands on execution across partner onboarding, campaign activation, and day to day business development support.
Reporting to the Assistant Manager Business Development of GBA Market Growth team, this role is highly execution focused, supporting the expansion and operation of Asia Miles earn and burn partnerships, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth delivery of market initiatives that drive active membership growth and Asia Miles usage.
Key Responsibilities:
1、Business Development & Partnership Support
1)Support the sourcing, onboarding, and day to day management of Asia Miles earn and burn partners across lifestyle categories relevant to the Shenzhen market.
2)Assist in partner communication, coordination, and follow ups to ensure timely execution of partnership deliverables.
3)Support preparation of partner materials, proposals, and documentation as required.
2、Programme & Campaign Execution
4)Support execution of partner led campaigns and initiatives that drive Asia Miles accrual, redemption, and member engagement.
5)Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, CRM, Digital, Operations, Finance) to support campaign setup, execution, and closure.
6)Assist in tracking campaign milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on time execution.
3、Operational & Coordination Support
7)Provide hands on support for operational setup of new partners, including internal coordination on systems, processes, and communications.
8)Support contract administration, internal approvals, and documentation tracking in line with internal requirements.
9)Act as a key coordination point between partners and internal stakeholders on execution matters.
4、Market & Performance Support
10)Support collection of market information, partner feedback, and basic performance data related to Asia Miles usage and partner activities.
11)Assist in preparing performance summaries, reports, and materials for review by the Assistant Business Development Manager.
12)Support post campaign reviews and identify execution learnings for continuous improvement.
Qualifications / Experience:
1)University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
2)At least 3 years of experience in business development support, partnerships, sales support, marketing execution, or related roles.
3)Interest in loyalty programmes, lifestyle partnerships, and customer engagement.
4)Strong execution mindset with attention to detail and follow through.
5)Proactive, hands on, and willing to take ownership of tasks in a fast paced environment.
6)Good organisational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7)Customer focused and service oriented.
8)Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
9)Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese preferred.
