Students from the Music Club performed the classic song “Payphone.” With clear vocals and strong coordination, they delivered the song’s emotions with sincerity and impact. Their performance created a relaxed yet lively atmosphere, and many parents took out their phones to capture the memorable moment.

化学社团展示了各类趣味化学实验，翠绿的火焰、奇妙的气体变化、绚丽的颜色反应，将化学的魅力展现得淋漓尽致。他们向家长们讲解实验原理，用通俗易懂的语言普及化学知识，打破了大家对化学学科的刻板印象，让家长们看到了孩子对科学探索的热情与严谨的科学态度。

The Chemistry Club presented a variety of engaging experiments, including emerald-green flames, striking gas reactions, and vivid color transformations, fully displaying the fascination of chemistry. Students explained the scientific principles behind each experiment to parents in clear and accessible language, helping to break common stereotypes about the subject. Through their presentation, parents were able to see not only their children’s enthusiasm for scientific exploration, but also their serious and rigorous attitude toward learning.

心理社团的学子们围绕“守护心灵，共赴美好”的主题，展示了社团的特色活动。向家长们介绍了社团如何通过心理小游戏、情绪分享等形式帮助同学们缓解学习压力、学会情绪管理。

Students from the Psychology Club presented the club’s signature activities under the theme “Caring for the Mind, Growing Toward the Good.” They introduced how the club supports students in relieving academic pressure and developing emotional management skills through interactive psychology-based games, emotional sharing sessions, and other supportive activities.

舞蹈社团的学子们带来了精彩的舞蹈表演，灵动的舞姿、整齐的动作、展现了他们蓬勃的青春活力。每一个动作都充满了力量与朝气，赢得了家长们的一致好评。

Students from the Dance Club delivered a wonderful performance, with graceful movements and strong coordination that showcased their vibrant youthful energy. Every gesture was filled with strength and vitality, earning enthusiastic praise from the parents in attendance.

手工社团（拼豆）的学子们将五颜六色的拼豆，通过耐心的摆放、细致的熨烫，制作成一个个精致的挂件、杯垫等作品。

Students from the Handicraft Club (Fuse Bead Art) carefully arranged colorful beads and used meticulous ironing techniques to create exquisite pendants, coasters, and other handcrafted pieces.

公益社团的学子们聚焦非洲助学领域，带来了极具意义的公益实践展示。他们分享道，非洲部分地区学校难以开展系统性教育，许多小学生缺少稳定的知识来源，而制作视频课程，能够为这些孩子提供长期可重复观看、可反复学习的知识渠道。为此，威睿达思深圳校区与美国校区联动发力，共同为非洲小学生打造专属视频课程，课程讲解全程搭配PPT辅助，确保知识传递清晰易懂，且所有课程内容都遵循严格的课程大纲，保证教学的规范性与专业性。其中，深圳校区的学子们主要负责课程中世界与文化板块的设计与制作，用生动的讲解、丰富的素材，为非洲孩子打开看世界的窗口，用实际行动传递知识的力量与少年的担当，也让在场家长看到了孩子们内心的善良、格局与责任。

Students from the Public Welfare Club focused their presentation on educational support initiatives in Africa, sharing a meaningful and impactful example of service-based learning. They explained that in some parts of Africa, schools face challenges in delivering systematic education, and many primary school students lack stable access to knowledge. In response, video-based lessons can provide a long-term, repeatable, and accessible learning resource for these children. To support this effort, Veritas Collegiate Academy (Shenzhen) collaborated with the U.S. campus to develop dedicated video courses for African primary school students. Each lesson was supported by PowerPoint presentations to ensure that content was delivered clearly and effectively, and all course materials followed a structured curriculum outline to maintain academic consistency and professionalism. Students from the Shenzhen campus were primarily responsible for designing and producing the “World and Culture” section of the curriculum. Through vivid explanations and rich supporting materials, they opened a window to the wider world for African children, using practical action to convey both the power of knowledge and the sense of responsibility carried by young people. Their work also allowed the parents present to see their children’s kindness, vision, and sense of responsibility.

最受家长期待的，莫过于“一对一”面谈环节。各科老师与家长面对面交流，围绕孩子的课堂表现、学业进展、性格特点以及优势与不足，进行了细致入微的反馈。结合孩子的实际情况，老师们还为家长提供了切实可行的个性化教育建议。家长们认真倾听、积极互动，老师们则耐心解答、悉心引导。在轻松融洽的氛围中，家校双方达成了教育共识，也为后续更有针对性地支持孩子成长奠定了良好基础。

Perhaps the most anticipated part of the event for parents was the one-on-one conference session. Teachers from different subjects spoke face to face with parents, offering detailed feedback on each student’s classroom performance, academic progress, personality traits, strengths, and areas for improvement. Based on each child’s individual situation, teachers also provided practical and personalized educational suggestions for families. Parents listened attentively and engaged actively, while teachers responded with patience, care, and thoughtful guidance. In this relaxed and constructive atmosphere, school and family reached a stronger shared understanding, laying a solid foundation for more targeted support for each child’s future growth.

The successful conclusion of the Parent Conference for Semester 2 of the 2025–2026 academic year at Veritas Collegiate Academy (Shenzhen) not only strengthened the bridge of communication between school and family, but also deepened the shared commitment to collaborative education.
