为深入推进大数据、人工智能、工业与应用数学等领域人才培养，深圳市大数据研究院携手香港中文大学（深圳）共同发起“深圳市大数据研究院博士生/博士后奖学金”。该奖学金项目资助香港中文大学（深圳）—深圳市大数据研究院—深圳国际工业与应用数学中心的联合培养博士生/博士后，旨在选拔和培育具有国际视野的复合型创新人才，重点支持在网络优化、人工智能、运筹优化、科学计算等前沿交叉领域开展深度研究的青年才俊。

To advance talent cultivation in the field of big data, artificial intelligence, and industrial and applied mathematics, the Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD), in collaboration with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), has jointly launched the “SRIBD PhD/Postdoc Scholarship.” This program supports jointly supervised PhD students/Postdoctoral researchers from CUHK-Shenzhen, SRIBD and SICIAM (Shenzhen International Center for Industrial and Applied Mathematics). It aims to identify and cultivate innovative, interdisciplinary talents with a global perspective, advancing research in cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields including network optimization, artificial intelligence, operations research, and scientific computing.

本年度奖学金计划面向全球优秀博士生/博士后开放申请，获选者可获得全额学费资助及顶尖科研团队指导在内的全方位培养。申请者需具备突出的学术潜质和创新思维，研究课题需契合研究院、数学中心核心发展方向。

This year’s Scholarship program is open to outstanding PhD students and postdoctoral researchers worldwide. Selected candidates will receive full tuition support and comprehensive training under the guidance of top-tier research teams. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong academic potential and innovative thinking, with research topics aligned with the core development directions of SRIBD and SICIAM.

Applications for the 2026–2027 Scholarship program are now officially open. You can visit the SRIBD official website for more details. The application deadline is June 30, 2026. We warmly invite talented students from around the world to join us in exploring the boundless possibilities of data intelligence and contributing to the development of a world-class innovation hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

（一）报名要求 Registration

1.申请人须为港中大（深圳）的博士生

Applicant should be CUHK-Shenzhen PhD student;

2.申请人需有任职于港中大（深圳）的大学导师、任职于深圳市大数据研究院的导师同时推荐（如导师在双方任职，则导师可为同一人），并获得所属研究院研究中心主任同意发起联培申请；

Applicant should have a supervisor from CUHK-Shenzhen and SRIBD respectively (If a supervisor holds appointments at both institutions, the same person may serve as both), and the application should be approved by the director of the SRIBD research center;

3.申请人的研究领域应与深圳市大数据研究院研究中心的核心发展方向密切相关。

The research area of each applicant is expected to be related to the scope of SRIBD and the research centers.

（二）申请材料 Materials Preparation

1.填写申请表格（点击文末“阅读原文”获取）；

Fill in the application form (Please click "Read more (阅读原文)" button at the bottom to find Application Form);

2.提交中英文个人简历及个人陈述（1-2页，研究兴趣、专长、申请理由、未来职业方向等）；

Submit your CV and personal statement in both Chinese and English (1–2 pages, covering research interests, expertise, reasons for application, future career direction, etc.)

3.深圳市大数据研究院导师推荐信及其他能证明成绩和科研能力的材料。

Recommendation letter from your SRIBD supervisor under the program and other supplementary documents.

（三）申请流程  Application Procedure

1.申请人联系确定研究院导师并获得所属研究中心主任支持；

Please contact and secure confirmation of a SRIBD supervisor, and obtains support and funding approval from the director of the affiliated research center;

2.申请人准备申请表格及相关材料并在申请期间内提交；

Prepare the application documents and submit before the deadline;

3.联培委员会将对申请材料进行审核；

The documents will be reviewed by the committee;

4.审核通过后申请人签署相关协议，并进入奖学金资助的联培计划。

Those who have passed the evaluation will be considered as a participant of the Joint PhD Program whose performance will be reviewed annually by the committee to determine the continuation of the support.

为进一步加强香港中文大学（深圳）-深圳市大数据研究院-深圳国际工业与应用数学中心的科研与项目合作，促进跨机构人才与资源共享，我们取消了“港中深导师与研究院导师必须为不同人员”的限制，并鼓励更多优秀导师加入研究院，共同开展学术交流与人才培养，形成更灵活的产学研生态。

To further strengthen research and project collaboration among The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), the Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD), and the Shenzhen International Center for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SICIAM), and to promote cross-institutional talent and resource sharing, we have removed the restriction that “students’ supervisors from CUHK-Shenzhen and SRIBD must be different individuals.” We also encourage more outstanding supervisors to join SRIBD to jointly engage in academic exchange and talent cultivation, thereby forming a more flexible industry-university-research cooperation ecosystem.

（一）联培导师身份 Become a supervisor

港中深教职人员可通过“双聘”形式加入研究院的研究中心/部门，获得双导师资格，同时拥有大学和研究院双重身份。

CUHK-Shenzhen faculty can join the research centers/departments of SRIBD through a "dual appointment" arrangement, thereby obtaining dual supervisor qualifications and holding dual identities at both CUHK-Shenzhen and SRIBD.

（二）如果您加入后与研究院的研究中心/团队开展实质科研项目合作，将有机会获得研究院联培经费支持。

If you engage in substantive research project collaboration with the SRIBD research centers or teams after joining as supervisor, you will have the opportunity to receive joint training funding support from the Institute.
