深圳交响乐团音乐总监兼首席指挥,无锡交响乐团艺术总监兼首席指挥,博士生导师,同时担任中国音乐学院特聘教授,上海音乐学院、香港中文大学(深圳)音乐学院及天津音乐学院客席教授。
先后师从中央音乐学院徐新教授、上海音乐学院张国勇教授、德国柏林汉斯·艾斯勒音乐学院克里斯蒂安·爱华德教授,获德国最高演奏家文凭。2009年起任杭州爱乐乐团驻团指挥,2010年至2015年任广州交响乐团常任指挥,期间率团完成多次国内外巡演。
2012年,在第六届乔治·索尔第国际指挥大赛中夺冠;同年获广东省音乐家协会“广东省优秀音乐家突出贡献奖”。2020年及2021年获上海音乐学院贺绿汀艺术成果奖,入选国家艺术基金2020年度青年艺术创作人才资助项目,2023年被评为“深圳十大杰出青年”。
2015年重返上海音乐学院执教。2016年出任深圳交响乐团音乐总监兼首席指挥,每年率团赴德国、美国、意大利、罗马尼亚、斯洛文尼亚、加拿大、捷克、斯洛伐克、奥地利、匈牙利、日本等国演出,参与卢布尔雅纳音乐节、罗马尼亚国际广播音乐节、意大利艾米莉亚罗马涅音乐节、梅拉诺音乐节、多尼采蒂音乐节、卡斯泰洛城国际音乐节及上海之春国际音乐节等。
2023年兼任无锡交响乐团艺术总监及首席指挥,主导乐团筹建,并于2024年1月1日执棒新年音乐会首演。2024年率无锡交响乐团室内乐团赴英国、日本交流;同年携深圳交响乐团完成英国巡演。2025年3月,执棒俄罗斯“跨西伯利亚艺术节”开幕音乐会;4月出任首届古典小提琴奥林匹亚国际大赛评委。
Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra, He is a Doctoral Supervisor, He holds professorships at several institutions: Distinguished Professor of Conducting at the China Conservatory of Music, Visiting Professor of Conducting at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Adjunct Professor of Conducting at the School of Music of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), and Visiting Professor of Conducting at the Tianjin Conservatory of Music.
LIN Daye studied successively under Professor XU Xin of the Central Conservatory of Music, Professor ZHANG Guoyong of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and Professor Christian EHWALD at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, where he received the German Konzertexamen, the highest performing degree. From 2009 he served as Resident Conductor of the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, and from 2010 to 2015 as Principal Conductor of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, leading the orchestra on multiple tours at home and abroad.
In 2012, he won first prize at the Sixth International Georg Solti Conducting Competition in Frankfurt. That same year, he was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award for Excellent Musician of Guangdong Province by the Guangdong Musicians Association. In 2020 and 2021, he received the He Luting Artistic Achievement Award from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and was selected for the 2020 Young Artistic Creative Talent Funding Program of the China National Arts Fund. In 2023, he was named one of Shenzhen’s Top Ten Outstanding Young People.
LIN returned to teach at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2015. Appointed Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra in 2016, he has since led the orchestra on annual international tours to Germany, the United States, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, and Japan, appearing at festivals such as the Ljubljana Festival, the International Radio Festival of Romania, the Emilia Romagna Festival, the Merano Festival, the Donizetti Festival, the Città di Castello International Music Festival, and the Shanghai Spring International Music Festival.
In March 2023, he took on the additional role of Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra, overseeing its founding and leading its debut concert on New Year’s Day 2024. That same year, he led the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra’s chamber ensemble on cultural exchange tours to the United Kingdom and Japan, and also conducted the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra on a widely praised tour of the UK. In March 2025, he conducted the opening concert of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival in Russia. In April 2025, he served on the jury of the inaugural Classical Violin Olympia International Competition.
