Through listening to audio materials, watching videos, and participating in role-play conversations, students gradually enhance their listening and speaking abilities, enabling them to communicate effectively in everyday situations.
岭南文化实践Lingnan Culture Practice	选修Elective	本课程是社会实践课程，目的是向学生介绍岭南文化的丰富内涵以及岭南的地理、历史及文化多样性。课程内容包括：广府、客家和潮汕等地区文化的代表性艺术形式及其特点，以及岭南文化的多样艺术表现形式，如建筑、园林、美食、音乐与舞蹈等。本课程通过景点实地参观等教学环节，将理论学习与亲身体验相结合，培养国际学生对岭南文化的了解和理解，增强国际学生在全球化背景下的跨文化沟通能力。This course is a social practice course aimed at introducing students to the rich content of Lingnan culture and the geographical, historical, and cultural diversity of the Lingnan region. The course covers the representative art forms and characteristics of the Cantonese, Hakka, and Chaoshan cultures, as well as the diverse artistic expressions of Lingnan culture, including architecture, gardens, cuisine, music, and dance. The course combines theoretical learning with hands-on experience through visits to cultural landmarks, fostering international students’ understanding of Lingnan culture and enhancing their cross-cultural communication abilities in a globalized context.

备注：一学期需至少修读5门必修课，至少选读2门选修课。

Note: Students must take at least 5 compulsory courses and choose at least 2 elective courses during one semester.

三、国际交换生开学及报名时间和申请流程Enrollment, Registration Dates, and Application Procedures for International Exchange Students

● 开学时间Start Date

The semester will begin in early October 2026 (subject to the official admission notice).

● 报名时间Application Deadline

报名截止日期为2026年4月24日。

The application deadline is April 24, 2026.

● 申请流程

第一步: 联系广州商学院国际学院办公室获得《广州商学院国际学生(非学历生)入学申请表》，也可通过广州商学院主页上下载申请表;

Step 1: Contact the International College Office of GCC to obtain the “GCC International Student (Non-degree Program) Application Form”, or download the form from the college website.

第二步: 申请表和其他相关申请材料最迟在报名截止日前通过校方负责老师统一邮寄或通过E-Mail寄至国际学院办公室，无报名费；

Step 2: The application form and other relevant application materials must be mailed or emailed to the International College office by the responsible teacher of the college, no later than the application deadline. There is no application fee.

第三步：通过报名材料初审的国际交换生，将由我校统一安排参加面试；

Step 3: International exchange students who pass the initial review of their application materials will be arranged by our college to participate in an interview.

第四步:面试后，国际学院办公室对国际交换生进行入学资格和汉语成绩审核。审核通过后，发放《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（DQ表）。

Step 4: After the interview, the International College office will review the admission qualifications and Chinese language proficiency of the international exchange students. Once approved, the “Admission Offer” and “Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Coming to China” (DQ Form) will be issued.

四、其他信息（签证、保险、住宿和就餐、联系方式）Other Information (Visa, Insurance, Accommodation and Dining, Contact Information)

● 签证Visa

申请人持《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（DQ表）、《外国人体格检查记录》及护照到所在国的中国使（领）馆办理来华学习“X”签证。

Applicants should bring the “Admission Offer”, “Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Coming to China” (Form DQ), the “Foreigner Physical Examination Record” and their passport to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their home country to apply for an “X” visa for studying in China.

● 保险Insurance

入学后统一购买保险，按照实际保险费用缴纳。如开学后退学，本年度保险费用不能退款。

After enrollment, students are required to purchase insurance collectively through the school and pay according to the actual insurance cost. If a student withdraws from the program after the semester begins, the insurance fee for the academic year will not be refunded.
