Have you read this week? This month? This year? As short videos, smartphones,and super-smart Al saturate our lives, undeniably our time devoted to books has dwindled.Exploring pages between covers, it turns out,takes too much time and
effort in this age of ever narrowing attention span. But Mr. Bacon's words still ring true,and have a long demonstrated history of being wise and witty through four centuries.The art of reading--once common yet now slightly quaint--should have its much-deserved place in today's bustling world if we wanted to lead a truly fulfilling and yes,happy existence.
And so,my friends,join us this Sunday to chat about books! You may share your all-time-favorite book that inspires you,or a memorable quotation that you just can't let go. You may also tell stories about your reading experience or draw up plans to regain the joy of printed words.
