Law degree from a reputable law school. Admission to practice in a common law jurisdiction (e.g. Hong Kong, England & Wales, New York) is highly preferred.
Experience2–6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate M&A, gained from a reputable international law firm or a top-tier PRC firm with a strong cross-border practice.
Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and exceptional proficiency in English (written and oral). Ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents in both languages is essential.
Strong understanding of the PRC legal and business environment
Proven experience in due diligence and managing work streams in China inbound, outbound and cross-border M&A transactions
Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
