Digital Product Manager(Shenzhen)

数字化产品经理 (深圳)

Location: Shenzhen

Role Introduction:

1、As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving digital product strategy and experience development for the Chinese Mainland market, working across Cathay’s digital platforms and customer touchpoints. You will focus on ensuring our digital experiences effectively serve Chinese Mainland-based customers and align with the expectations, behaviours, and ecosystem of the Chinese Mainland digital landscape.

2、This role will work across both Travel and Lifestyle propositions, ensuring a cohesive end-to-end customer journey for Chinese Mainland customers engaging with Cathay across booking, travel management, loyalty engagement, and lifestyle services.

3、You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, partnerships, and regional teams to ensure that our digital products meet customer needs and business objectives. You will conduct market research, analyse user behaviour and feedback, and make data-driven decisions to continuously enhance the product experience.

4、While this role covers the broader Chinese Mainland digital ecosystem, experience working with WeChat and the platform landscape is essential, as WeChat represents a key channel for engaging Chinese Mainland customers.

5、You will take ownership of product success by defining key performance indicators (KPIs), driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring that product investments deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1、Product Strategy & Market Insight

1)Identify strategic opportunities within the Chinese Mainland market, engaging with stakeholders to develop product strategies that address customer needs and market dynamics.

2)Develop and maintain a product vision and roadmap that reflects the unique characteristics of the Chinese Mainland digital ecosystem, including platform behaviours, user expectations, and competitive trends.

3)Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

2、Customer Experience & Product Discovery

1)Explore user needs and behaviours within the Chinese Mainland market, conducting research and analysing insights to inform product direction.

2)Define cohesive customer journeys across Travel and Lifestyle propositions, ensuring an integrated experience for Chinese Mainland customers across Cathay’s ecosystem.

3)Lead product discovery initiatives and experimentation to identify new opportunities for growth and customer engagement.

3、Product Definition & Validation

1)Define product functionality and strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.

2)Ensure proposed features and enhancements meet user needs through testing, feedback analysis, and data-driven validation.

3)Evaluate product opportunities within the Chinese Mainland market based on impact, feasibility, and strategic importance.

4、Product Roadmap & Delivery Alignment

1)Create and execute product roadmaps that align with company objectives and regional market needs.

2)Work closely with engineering, design, and product teams to ensure successful delivery of product initiatives.

3)Coordinate initiatives across multiple product areas to ensure a consistent experience for Chinese Mainland customers.

5、Performance & Outcomes

1)Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product performance and customer outcomes.

2)Evaluate the impact of product features on customer experience, engagement, and business performance.

3)Communicate product outcomes and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.

6、Stakeholder Collaboration

1)Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners supporting the Chinese Mainland market.

2)Align stakeholders on product priorities, roadmaps, and outcomes.

3)Communicate product updates, insights, and strategic direction across the organisation.

7、E&A

Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required

Qualifications / Experience:

1、Academic qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2、Knowledge, skills, training and experience

1)3 to 5 years of relevant experience

2)Experience working with digital products in the Chinese Mainland market.

3)Familiarity with WeChat ecosystem including Mini Programs and platform integrations.

4)Experience working within agile product development environments.

5)Strong collaboration skills working with engineering and design teams.

6)Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret product performance data.

7)Understanding of user experience principles and digital product design.

8)Strong organisational and communication skills.

9)Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred.

Social Marketing Specialist(Shenzhen)

Role Introduction:

1、To protect and promote the brand reputation of Cathay Pacific across all media platforms (traditional, digital, and social).

2、To perform and ensure region/local communication materials align with corporate affairs strategy and execution.

3、To ensure fast and professional response and customer engagement through Social Media and marketing activities as well as supporting fare promotions, network promotions, and other campaign and direct sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1、Brand

1)Brand Content & Copy Stewardship

Oversee the development and execution of all marketing content and copy, ensuring consistency with brand tone, voice, and visual identity across every touchpoint.

2)Local Relevance & Language Quality

Act as the brand's gatekeeper for local market adaptation: review all materials to ensure they resonate with regional audiences, that language and writing are culturally appropriate, and that copy is fluent and effective.

3)Cross-Channel Campaign Alignment

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that all campaign content reflects a unified brand narrative while meeting channel-specific 

2、Social Media

1)Improve awareness and influence of the Company’s brand as well as generate sales conversion by leveraging social media platforms

2)Lead and manage the appointed social media agency to ensure quality outputs, achieving outstanding social media presence, fan base development and active engagement on the Company’s SNS platforms i.e. WeChat, Weibo, etc. 

3)Be connected with the latest trends trends/technology/best practices in social media spheres to keep improving and optimising social marketing performance and effectiveness 

4)Explore possible new channels, platforms and approaches for social marketing to ensure the Company is an early adopter in the digital marketplace

5)Ensure that all locally produced social media content is of superior quality, is on brand, and aligns with Head Office direction

6)Plan, develop and execute local insights driven social media content in the region

7)Adapt global social media content for local use in the region

8)Update and maintain the regional social media content calendar and share with Head Office

9)Create regional social media content strategy and define success criteria for the region based on local business needs and aligning Head Office social media strategies

10)Work with agency or platforms on understanding local sentiment and verbatims about Cathay and competitors over social media in the region

3、Corporate Social Responsibility

Plan and execute local Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives based on Head Office in key selected markets

4、Budget

Manage the annual Social Media budget allocated to the region in an effective manner

5、E&A

Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required

Qualifications / Experience:

1、Academic qualifications

Bachelor degree holder or equivalent in a related business field

2、Knowledge, skills, training and experience

1)Minimum three years’ experience in a Public Relations or (preferably) a Social Media enterprise 

2)Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese

3)Good media relationship and understanding of the story needs local media

4、This role requires strong delivery ownership, collaboration with technical teams, and the ability to manage product backlogs and priorities to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
